Graphite is a powerful SEO tool designed specifically for Webflow users who want to optimize their website’s technical SEO effortlessly.
While Webflow offers a solid SEO technical foundation, Graphite goes a step further by providing tools for meta editing, structured data implementation, and robots.txt customization.
With its intuitive interface and automation features, Graphite simplifies complex SEO tasks, making it easier to improve website rankings and visibility.
✅ It's free – making it accessible to all Webflow users who want to enhance their site’s SEO without extra costs.
✅ Overview and detail pages – the app provides both a high-level SEO overview and more detailed insights, helping users pinpoint areas for improvement.
✅ Robots.txt builder – an excellent tool for controlling search engine access to your site’s pages, giving users more flexibility in SEO management.
You just need to toggle which page you want to be crawled and past the code in your SEO settings.
🔸 Limited focus – currently, the app only handles meta editing, schema markup, and robots.txt, leaving out other critical SEO elements.
🔸 Bulk editor limitations – the bulk editor is essentially the same as Webflow's built-in designer, which doesn't add much extra value.
🔸 Schema feature constraints – the app only supports schema for two types: Article and Organization. Expanding this to include more structured data types would make it more useful.
Graphite is positioning itself as a leader in Webflow SEO, with high-profile clients like Webflow and Fourth Wall. The app has been developed in collaboration with Finsweet, a well-respected name in the Webflow ecosystem.
However, despite its strong reputation, the app itself is quite basic. It consists of three micro apps that don’t offer much differentiation from other tools in the space. Given Graphite’s standing in the industry, I expected a more feature-rich SEO solution.
Graphite has an entire SEO platform, yet the Webflow integration feels underwhelming. I would love to see their platform features on their Webflow app.
That said, I’m optimistic about future updates and look forward to seeing how the app evolves.
